Thanksgiving Week

Happy Thanksgiving week!

In the south it seems more like spring with the temps in the 70's.  We have strong storms heading into our area tonight but I am praying that won't happen.

I started cooking today.  I made my cornbread for my dressing,  two pies, and that's it until tomorrow.  I am making all my casseroles tomorrow, chicken & dumplins' and another pie, and a cake for my oldest that he requested.  It's so easy on Thanksgiving day to just throw all the prepared casseroles in the oven and cook the turkey and that allows more time to relax. :)

My menu is huge but I love to make sure everyone has their favorite dishes.

I have already started Christmas shopping and most of the gifts have come from Amazon.  I just need to buy wrapping paper and I can start wrapping them and placing them under the tree. Go me! *grin*

On a more serious note:

Would you please pray for Nancy. She is the lady who won my last giveaway. Her mother unexpectedly passed away and they will be having her funeral the day after Thanksgiving.  I loved what Nancy told me,  she said it would not be Black Friday for them but White Friday because her mom went to be with Jesus!  Nancy, I am praying for you and your family.  I wrote on your blog today.

I hope you and your families have a wonderful week and we all have so much to be thankful for and I am thankful for you.

Happy Thanksgiving!
